Pathways to Graduation Brooklyn @St. Nicks Alliance  

790 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Licensed and appointed NYCDOE Teacher

 

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Satisfactory/effective/highly effective rating for the past three years.

Satisfactory record of attendance and punctuality

Demonstrated knowledge and successful practice of varied instructional approaches including differentiated teaching strategies and small group instruction.

Experience with using resources and tools to support instruction.

Effective communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to incorporate literacy strategies in content areas.

Experience with successfully utilizing online learning management platforms.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide instruction to P2G Students in English, Mathematics, Science and/or Social Studies

Implement and assume responsibility for all classroom instruction as assigned by supervisor.

Maintain student attendance and progress reports.

Use ongoing assessment to plan instruction.

Participation in student case conferencing and various student-centered meetings

Utilize the online management platforms to support teaching and Learning.

Complete reports as needed.

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

SY 2025 November 18, 2024 – June 20, 2025

Up to 4 days Monday -Thursday (various days per site/subject to budget constraints)

4:00 – 7:00 pm (start time may vary depending on restrictions)

 

Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.

 

SALARY:

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
